My biggest feedback for BHVR - Hear me out. Please
I love this game truly! However, my biggest frustrations/Feedback.
How LONG it takes to get stuff done.(I know this is an Eye Roller when you read stuff like this since I am not on the inside view of things and a mere customer so no shade by any means to the team.) When it comes to Map Reworks, Bug Fixes, Reworks for killers, Tweaks Etc.
Maybe it's just me and maybe Marvel Rivals has me spoiled with how fast they get stuff done but I just wish we could get stuff done much faster. I get we have timeframes for stuff I understand.
Less Content for more QOL, which I understand that is what we are doing nowish…
Like when I saw Hound master's got a tome coming out, I was SO excited. Then I saw they said it was going to be a WHOLE year or MORE before it comes out…. Like oh my… (Regardless I am thankful)
Pyramid Head - 3 years to finally get to his Addons?
Skull Merchant's Rework is going to be now pushing a year or more? (We could've just worked with her first designed and built around that but that's just me. Would have saved a lot of time, resources and headaches for everyone.)
Sadako same thing. Almost 2 years for her rework. 6 months later for another one. Then now we have the end result of something that is just so boring to play as sadly. (Feedback has been given in a previous thread recently today)
The other thing - Changing stuff that doesn't need to be touched? I never understood this…
I get this is a business but I pay attention to the little details and that's what matters to me most. While new content is fun of course! (I am of course not saying Reworks are "Small Details") but shouldn't take year's worth of time. I think even a year is pushing it.
Any who, this post is a little sloppy and forgive me for that, but this is just me speaking out of frustration. I am a great support, gamer and customer to this game, I just wanted to take the time to express my feelings.
Thanks for listening.

Yeah it's actually nuts how long they take to do anything. Considering how bloated their employee count is I can only assume every decision has to go through layers of bureaucracy to even get a change started.
Like the quest stuff is super bare bones. Just the basic information with no visual flare at all. How long are we gonna take to get something like we used to have? Like the observer's room? Years probably.

Meetings to discuss meetings to discuss meetings

Right..Some stuff just doesn't need a meeting.

I said this in another post, but we always hear about how they don't crunch when this is brought up. Which I think is great. I hate hearing how miserable game dev can be. But no amount of time in the world can make up for poor time management and planning. The evidence for that is seen in both how long it takes for things to get done, but also in how many resources go into patch ideas that are almost immediately scrapped.
Like you said, we don't know what goes on exactly behind the scenes, but we do see the effects all the same. How DBD is up there in terms of games that are poorly managed. I think feedback like this being louder and more concise can only serve to help them too. I'm not really sure the game is in any position to change, but we should make our feelings known regardless instead of only showering them with praise for what often amounts to breadcrumbs.

I agree some changes take far too long. There are so many easy ways to fix stuff that is underpowered in this game but it just stays that way.
As for Sadako they should have never reworked. They far too often touch stuff that didn‘t need to be touched (at least she only needed buffs but no reworks).

I agree my friend 💯

tbh, bhvr only cares about making more cosmetics so they can milk more money from players, bug fixes and QOL updates are their least priority

Which would be silly because you would want people to be less frustrated from your game so they would stick around longer hence buying more stuff.
