Consider bumping the odds up from 20% to 33% or reducing the offering rarity from rare to uncommon.

Just make them killer only, killers need to care about the map they're on FAR more than survs do (to the point where certain builds only work on certain maps).

No. Make them 10%. Or 5%. I hate map offerings and equally despise the people who use them for the unfair advantage they give.

I have never used a map offering, and I certainly won't use it even after the rework, since it's practically useless as it is now.
The problem is that, unfortunately, more and more junk is accumulating in the inventory and bloodweb because of this change and it's so frustrating.1 -
Just remove them and lower the amount of bloodweb junk. Map offerings actually being reliable was extremely unhealthy and they should never be buffed again

Counterpoint: They should have nerf’d them harder.
The game isn’t balanced enough for players to have say where we play. Until BHVR manages to make every map equally balanced for both sides, then Map Offerings should be removed from the game.
Same with Oak Offerings. Players shouldn’t have a say in hook placement.-1 -
The devs should either completely remove them (I personally would prefer that) or change them to prevent their associated maps from being selected. However, buffing their current function is a terrible idea. No side should be able to dictate the map and tailor their build around that.
