Dont ever dare to call it compensation again.
8 Addons got retired for survivors. We get a total of 2.5 Million BPs as "compensation". I just looked up my numbers on Dwight. Thats already 1.5 Mio Bloodpoints that have been wasted. And I have 44 other surviors with a huge mass of retired items.
Was it really too difficult to make a proper coding for a "true" compensation?
I can just call this scam.

I agree that compensations are still way too low. But at the same time, I'm glad we're finally getting them. I didn't think it'd ever happen, especially after that fiasco with Gabriel's Lunar New Year outfit. So I'm hoping they do more as time goes on.

I have a million BP worth extra of addons on one character alone. They should've really personalised the compensation.

To be frank, we're not entitled to anything. The devs are free to remove add-ons if they want. That doesn't mean we deserve free BP. It's just in-game currency. Yet OP is acting like they got duped in a ponzi scheme, and lost their life savings. Calling it a scam is completely overkill.
People should just be grateful they get anything.

That's true that they don't have to give us anything, but it's a good practice to have with your audience. There's very little at stake throwing 100 cells or 1500 shards at us here and there. Considering how long BHVR's reputation has suffered, there's no reason to not do little things to mend that.

Most of you seem to be forgetting that this is the same dev team that handed out 25k bp during most anniversary logins, awarded a mere 5k bp for each extra rift level beyond 100, and who tries to peddle 100k bp for a whopping 2,000 iridescent shards (or more!) in the shrine of secrets.
I don't mean to be overly negative here, but even though a 2.5m bp giveaway is the most they've EVER given away, it would be foolish to keep very high expectations…

It's less of a big deal than I thought seeing as hundreds of addons were "converted" into the new ones. I don't see an issue since they did that.
