I held off on submitting these issues in here until the 9.1.0 patch to see if a fix was planned, but it seems not. Another bugged Elodie cosmetic. Feels like every cosmetic release for her, there's something wrong with at least once piece of the cosmetic. This time, it's the hair on the headpiece for this skin.
And it looks bad.
Some of the issues with the headpiece:
- The hair is literally floating above her shoulder and has almost no physics, causing it to awkwardly and stiffly move about during animations
- Missing alpha texture
- Scalp is missing its partings underneath hair and has just the default shaved head texture at her scalp
- Texture is stretched on some of the braids tied up
- A lot of the braids are just flat rectangles and have no actual shape
- Ends of each braid cut off very bluntly
- The edges/baby hairs look like they were drawn on her forehead in Sharpie
This skin looks very low quality and unfinished. It is so disappointing that a skin that costs real money was released in such poor, unfinished state.
