Conviction ignores Mettle of Man

So, this new perk Conviction puts you into the dying state once it expires, which seems to ignore Mettle of Man perk: Once activated, the next ocassion that would put you into the dying state from the injured state is ignored.
Either Conviction isn't working as intended or Mettle of Man is not working as intended.

This occurs when the two perks are active.
