Wasn't the interaction between wraith, artist and nurse with flashlights removed because they cancelled or hampered the killers' powers?

Now we have the same thing with fog vials and singularity. The vials completely cancel his cameras. It feels incongruent. The cameras should be able to tag through the fog.
