Quality of Life I would love to see!
I think it’s fair to say that the quality of life in Dead by Daylight has come a long way recently, and I really appreciate the improvements. That said, I wanted to share a few ideas and suggestions that I think could make the game experience even smoother:
- Character Filtering by Prestige It would be helpful to have the option to filter characters based on their prestige level when navigating the character selection screen.
- Bloodpoint Spending Filters When spending bloodpoints in bulk, a filter system that lets us prioritize specific items, offerings or add-ons would be useful. It would also be great to have the option for the game to automatically stop spending once a selected item, offering or add-on appears.
- Accessing the Rift from the Lobby Currently, I believe the only way to view the Rift is by returning to the main menu. Adding a way to access it directly from the party or lobby screen would be a small but meaningful improvement.
Now, this next part may be more personal preference, but as an OG DBD player, I’m not a big fan of characters speaking in the trial or lobby. A toggle setting to disable unnecessary voice lines would be amazing. I do appreciate the work that goes into recording and adding these lines - it’s just not really my thing.
While we’re on the topic of audio, I’ve noticed that some killer idle sounds in the lobby are way too loud when I’m just chilling (examples: The Ghoul and Oni).
Lastly, this one might be a bit controversial: chase music volume control. Some chase themes (like the Spirit’s) are too intense for me. I understand that changing the music could affect gameplay, so a good compromise might be giving players the option to switch all chase music to the default track instead of the unique killer themes.
Thanks for taking the time to read this - I’m really excited to see where the game goes from here

I agree with all this except the chase music volume. That is not quality of life, it's a game balance thing.
Especially the survivor voices. Hearing survivors yapping kills my immersion.

you can access the rift in a party if you click quests from the left and then view rift at the bottom, but not while in the pregame lobby
