So I have some ideas to make leveling more enjoyable and to reward more dedicated players
So here are the ideas in a nice illustration:
So I have a few issues with certain parts of the game at the moment. One of them is the leveling.
At the moment there are 54 Survivor perk, this are 112 Bloodwebs after level 50. With 55k points per web this are 6 million Bloodpoints. Let's assume you get 15k points after each survivor game, then it will take 410 games just to max out one character. Now you have to add unlocking all teachable perks, prestiging and repeating the same thing for other characters.
So my idea is that starting from level 50 there will spawn 3 perks in each Bloodbweb and the player can purchase 2 of them, before the entity destroys them.
Another thing is devotion. At the moment, you get no rewards at all for passing 100 levels. My idea is to give a 10 % multiplier for each devotion point. This multiplier will then be applied, each time your player level increases, to your new shards. With 0 devotion points everything stays the same. However, let's say you are Devotion level 2. and at level 60. In this range you normally get 300 shards for each level. With this concept instead, you'd get 300 * 1.2 = 360 Shards. It's not that much that it will hurt the sales but still be usable. Even if that's too much, just make it 5 %.
And the last thing for now is the rank reset.
Everybody hates them, Survivors and Killers. People who disconnect to derank. There is almost no benefits right now for red rank players. So why not reward people for reaching a high rank. You can look up the exact rewards in the image. Basically, once a season ends the higher rank from survivor and killer will be chosen and depending on that you will be rewarded. The rewards can be in Bloodpoints and in Iridescent Shards. Of course the values can be tweaked.
One downside to the season rewards might be a higher toxicity. People will try to get the rewards with very/ultra rare items, add-ons and offerings. To counter that you can adjust or change the rewards.
I am open to other suggestions. This is something that would reward dedicated players and doesn't change the core mechanics of the game.

Question tho on the rank! (because everything else is reasonable)
Does it like register that you were rank 1 and then you get rewards for rank 1 or you have to stay rank 1?0
