White ward not letting me keep item

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I have quadruple checked now that the white ward sometimes does not work. I have been checking the killers perks for franklins demise or something of the like and maybe I didn’t pay attention. That may have been the case a couple times. I have just confirmed it did not let me keep my map, I was placed on the hook (my 3rd so I died), killer didn’t have Franklin’s demise as I never dropped the map when the pig hit me each time prior. I had one map left now I have none. I had white ward and that was my last map. The pink ones were hard to get and this has costed me COUNTLESS items (iridescent maps, and keys, [don’t exist anymore I know lol I love the new smoke bomb btw and the reworked add ons CHEFS KISS]which are really rare. I might have gotten one or two every 50 levels) now that I realize I was still loosing them. I never dropped it and even when I depleted the charges before I sometimes keep the item sometimes I don’t. That’s ALOT of blood points stolen from me because of this bug. I’m not asking for compensation please just fix so we can continue to enjoy this amazing game! 1v4 it’s important to have any advantage you can. Especially against full hex builds (ruin, pentimento, thrill of the hunt, and NOED, or devour hope.)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I am not quite sure how to replicate this I will continue to pay attention and update my post if any synchronicities appear.

VIDEO: I will try to get a video but it’s quite difficult as I can only clip in 30 second intervals on Xbox and they don’t always work if I try to do them back to back to get a “longer video” so to speak. Will update if that changes and I manage to capture it. I’m playing today so I’m working on it lol. I know it doesn’t prove anything but here’s my build. I know having white ward there doesn’t prove anything but hopefully this can point you guys in the direction to figure out the bug. Here’s my build and in game name and character so hopefully it might help you guys narrow down the script or coding issue. The fact that I have white ward and zero maps (cuz you u can’t equip something if you don’t have it) again doesn’t prove anything buuuuuut just look into it. Thanks and much ❤️

    Happened to me and I'm a Switch player. Had a bunch going on so I muted the video. Escaping my previous match kept everything I think but I had 5 Fog Vials and lost my item and add ons. I can't recall my add ons count but it was more than 1 each so I'll keep an eye out if I escape with it again if there's also a bug there. I apologize for the moving of the video should show enough to show it wasn't just a visual bug. The map was also Freddy Fazbear's Diner against Sadako if that might mean anything.

    Edited to add: This bug is inconsistent. My next match was on Haddonfield against a double iri Wraith and I kept them upon death. I purchased a few level 50 bloodwebs and got back the Fog Vial I lost and an extra mushroom formula, 3 Oily Saps and an extra White Ward which was consumed and it worked this time around. Oh I also unequipped then requipped once I got the items from my bloodweb.
