Packet loss in DBD since last patch, anyone else?

Hey everyone,

Since the latest Dead by Daylight patch, I’ve been having a strange issue with severe packet loss and I can't seem to find others with the same problem. I’ve never had connection issues before, but now I’m constantly disconnecting mid-game.

What I’ve tried so far:

  1. Restarted router
  2. Flushed DNS
  3. Updated all drivers
  4. Verified game files on Steam
  5. Fully reinstalled the game

What’s strange:

  • I’ve run ping tests and everything looks stable for hours.
  • Other games like Sea of Thieves, Ark: Survival Ascended, World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Path of Exile run perfectly fine.
  • But the moment I load into a DBD match, 4–5 minutes in, I get the “request failed” warning, the packet loss icon, and eventually I get disconnected..

This only started happening after the latest patch, and I’ve never had this before.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have any idea what’s going on?
