My idea of how to make the fog vile more fair and less annoying and an idea for franklins demise
- Remove the recharge and instead be one use just like flashbang or firecrackers like once you use it then its gone.
- decrease the duration of fog cloud to 5 - 6 seconds instead of 8. Then the different versions depending on how rare are they: brown: 4-5 seconds, green 6-7 seconds and then blue 8 seconds.
- survivors in the fog should not be able to leave no scratch marks and make no sound. But supressing the aura is fine plus maybe get rid of the mufled sound in the fog or at least decrease the volume cause its way to loud.
- addon changes: Volcanic stone (rework) Now shows the aura of pallets and vaults in the fog, Reactive compound: decrease the duration to 0.5 seconds, oily sap: decrease the duration to 1.5 seconds, Potent extract|: decrease the fog opacity by a little bit so that it wouldn"t hurt my eyes, decreases the duration for 40% and the size for 15%. Plus and idea for Franklins demise: when the item is dropped by the killer the dissapears automaticly after 50 - 60 seconds. Maybe even more depending on the situation.

Problem with fog vials is that they are just pretty boring. Not even strong. My idea was to keep recharges for doing objectives and boost the fog vial effect to compensate for that.
- Fog vials start empty
- brown has 40 charges, green has 60 charges and blue has 90 charges
- brown lasts 6s and has 6m range, green lasts 8s and has 8m range, blue lasts 10s and has 10m range
- to activate vial you have to repair gen, cleanse or bless totem, heal or self heal, search or rummage chests (each 1s gives 1% recharge)
- iri add on now heals within the cloud and increase amount of charges needed by 60

I would first revert the changes from the PTB.
- Opacity is back at 33%.
- Cloud size is back to 10 meters.
- Sounds are no longer muffled, droning/ambient sound made quieter.
Then, one singular thing:
- Footsteps are still muffled.
And honestly? Most of the issues would be solved.

Honestly I find it super weird that it has infinite charges, it goes against the idea of using scarce resrouces, but the reason likely is that the fogvial is very likely to not work so it kinda HAS to be used many times. Still I think people rarely get to use it more than 4 times a match.

Probably.
Making it have uses like maps or keys would make them even more spammable.
They would run out sooner, but before that you would have to enjoy a minute of Silent Hill gameplay.

Fog Vials cause same maddness for some people as Ghoul. Minimum half community wouldn't mind those things being removed.
