Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Outbreak breakout achievement way too difficult with map offering nerf

This achievement was already considered a pain before map offerings were nerfed. Even if you were to be able to get progress every single RPD match you would expect it to take ~100 matches spamming RPD offerings every single match. Even that is too much, but its even harder than that because you won't always escape and you won't always be able to open the exit gate. The average survivor has 40% escape rate meaning that ~100 matches becomes ~250 matches, and even then you won't always open the exit gate, even if 75% of your escapes you open the gate that ~250 becomes ~330. Its ridiculous.

I know you're not allowed to modify them on console but you should at least adjust the achievment on PC like you've done with the huntress achievement in the past.

Meh, I feel like this achievement was not so bad myself really, it's just a time sink. Considering there are plenty of achievements that also require a strong time investement, and have some nasty requirements to boot; I did this one without using maps even when I could, and it certainly wasn't one of the last in my list.

The one that really sucks though without map offerings is Haemophobia, and with that in mind I still think maps should be 33% chance overall per side. I'd also consider returning unsuccessful map offerings back to the player as if the map offering was "rejected", unless a different players map o was chosen or a sac ward was used.

"Time Sink" is a bit of an understatement. It could easily over 100 hours of using RPD offerings just to get this achievment.

Its achievement that takes time and there is nothing wrong with achievements that take time.

I do see what you're saying... but anyone even remotely serious about DBD is looking at at least 500 hours, and even that is on the shallow end.

Hell I'm over 2000 hours and still not considered a "veteran", I'm intermediate at best... my point is, as some who has 100% achievements (at least up to Springtrap), there are plenty of other achievements that are gonna stall you more than the RPD one, and you'll beat that long before you clear them.
