How do I remove old pending friend requests on Xbox?
I made a bug report, but it was declined as it wasn't considered to be a bug and I'm completely clueless what I'm supposed to do with pending friend requests.
Basically on Xbox friend requests didn't exist at some point. You had to follow someone and they had to follow you back. Following was considered to be a friend request both on Xbox and DBD. Then Xbox decided to change the friend system to what it is today, which is sending a friend request and the receiver either accepting or declining the friend request.
In DBD this whole transition didn't really work. I had a lot of people follow me on Xbox and they ended up as pending friend invites in DBD. Then the friend system was changed on Xbox and follows are no longer considered to be friend requests on Xbox, but they are still in DBD as pending friend requests. I can't accept or decline them in DBD, it just shows me "View profile" and "Block" options. Blocking does nothing. Automatically declining friend requests doesn't work as the pending friend requests just come back on restart. I can't accept or decline any requests on Xbox because there are no friend requests, they are just old followers. Removing them from your followers list on Xbox does nothing. I can't add them as friends because a lot of them are dead accounts that haven't been online in years.
What am I supposed to do here? I can't seemingly do anything about it on Xbox, so maybe I can just cross progress to another platform and remove the pending friend requests there? I have no idea.
