Do all developers only play killers?
I seriously wonder whose idea it was to give the clown a 15–20% movement speed buff.I'm running on two legs, but the clown feels like he's chasing me on a bike. That's how powerless I feel, and honestly, I don't even want to play anymore. I used to love Dead by Daylight, even when you kept buffing killers and nerfing survivors—but now, every time I go up against the clown, I can’t escape no matter what I do, and it's killing my desire to keep playing. Give survivors some decent perks for once!

I mean, if you look, killer players were screaming at the devs to not do what they did. No one wanted Clown changed like this.

I'm not saying it's good, but the movement speed buff was only 2%. It's more so the instant usability of Yellow Bottles than it is the haste that's a problem. Regardless, I think they were trying to vary Clowns toolkit a little, as he's really chase oriented, with not much else to help him. The idea, I presume, was to make clown have some map mobility.
They went about it wrong though.

If anything, the devs don't really come across as playing their own game rather than just only playing killer. At least not in an actual environment and not just on local sandbox builds as they develop new content.

They should really sit down and play survivor on solo queue. Almost every game all survivors are killed even before the fiest gen ever gets done. Oddly, when I play killer, I always go up against swfs, so they definitely aren't seeing the whole picture.

True. Killer mains (along with me) don't really like this Clown state. It was purely decision of devs. While I still say that antidotes were as powerfull as now before, but were not so braindead to use.
