GETTING PLACED IN DIFFERENT SERVERS

ISSUE: High Ping / Cross-Region Matchmaking
DESCRIPTION:
In nearly every match (as both survivor and killer), I’m placed in lobbies where my ping is consistently 100ms or higher. On the rare occasion I’m placed on my local server, my teammates often have high ping instead. This suggests mixed-region matchmaking, even when local players are available.
IMPACT:
- High ping and inconsistent latency make mobility-dependent killers like Nurse very difficult to play.
- Lag from other players causes rubberbanding and dropped frames, impacting hit registration and chase accuracy.
- This is not an issue with my connection — I maintain low ping in other online games.
EVIDENCE:
- Attached screenshots showing my ping vs. other players’ pings in the same match. I am the Cheryl Mason in both images.
- Ping issues occur daily and across multiple sessions.
REQUEST:
Please review server region allocation and matchmaking settings to reduce cross-region lobbies. Ideally, match players within similar latency ranges to improve game fairness and playability.
