Kindred Basekit
Hello im Killer Main, and yes i am suggesting a survivor buff.
I dislike that the skilldifference between randoms and SWF ist very high. This is because for example when somebody is hooked in a SWF group they can talk to each other who goes to rescue and the other stay at the gen while in a random group all people are running towards the hook or nobody does.
Sometimes i have somebody that i hook that dies on the first hook just because noone comes.
To lessen this effect i think the 2nd part of kindred should be basekit, so as soon as somebody is hooked the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to each other. This effect would mainly be a benefit for non-voicechat groups. Since Voicechat SWF know where they are anyway.

The activity HUD makes kindred obsolete for players with gamesense. Did someone leave their gen whilst another is on hook but is not in chase? Very likely going for the save. You don't need it with an ounce of gamesense. All this is asking for bad survivors to be catered to. More handholding. It's more rewarding to learn the game

I can get behind a ping wheel. But info this braindead? Yeah, no. What the survivor role really needs is more interaction. A ping wheel could actually be a fun way to sneak in more survivor voicelines too.

But that allready 100% what SWF groups have when they are in discord.. Why do you want to make such a big disadvantage for non-swf groups?

@taktak1 As long as it comes with a visible anti camp meter for all survivors to see, im all for it.
@Coffee2Go Kindred is more of a QOL addition. Corrupt being basekit would be a buff to all killers. Nothing wrong with that though, since set up killers could use it alot, and those gens across the map where the killer spawned being popped by your solo queue teammates can really hurt your chances of escape, since you're likely gonna 3 gen where you spawned.

Well kindred would buff all survivors too, even though i am doing tests and examples of kindred and just stress testing how casuals behave when they get access to kindred.
Either way both of these baseline kits would be a buff for each of their own.
Although i would not mind baseline corrupt being tweaked and rather corrupt staying as a perk on its own with how it tweaks the baseline corrupt as a mechanic.
So in short u get a baseline corrupt that locks 3 gens further away but not completely locking them away rather make it super extra hard to finish a gen unless 4 people decide to work on it which would be like a improbable scenario.

I think giving them full aura reading on all survivors may be slightly strong for a basekit buff. I'd probably say reveal the aura of the closest survivor to the hook because remember, a swf is almost never perfectly coordinated and this may just buff them massively.

Or maybe like every 15 sec aurareading for 2sec. (the numbers are adjustable ofcourse). Or you could make that this effect doesnt work in a 16m radius around the killer so if the killer is chasing somebody, the other survivers know THAT hes getting chased but not where.

those would all work. Kindred is a powerful effect and I feel like giving it out in whole for free would be too much, but soloque needs something along these lines that way the survivor environment gets much more level between SWF and solo.

i doubt behavior would want to ever buff soloq in a meaningful way
(i mean look at the ######### they have tried recently with anti-facecamp and hug update)
and they wont do it since they alledgedly have plans for slugging and tunneling,
and at this point since how dumb and blind people are, even with its full 16 meters effect, for one, people wouldnt allow it
and for two, the problem is the communication. so even if they see eachother and possibly the killer, it probably wouldnt do much since they would just camp and wait and then throw the game or exchange hook or stare and do nothing as essentially the killer is getting free pressure.
i would love if we had a baskit deja without the genboost or even have all gens for soloq only players have their auras revealed permamently for the entire match. that way people would actually do the objectives, make the survivors lives easier and make the killer gameplay not just a boring stomp/be stomped gameplay cycle.
best case they would force people to play and improve the tutoriel as best as possible.
adding, showing and teaching survivor gameplay, how to loop, how to use ur camera, how to checkspot, when to use a pallet/window, when/how to do gens, (and to stop promoting hiding in lockers). and then optionally how to play and/or play against each killer.-1
