US player being constantly placed in EU servers. Is this happening to anyone else?

This happens roughly 80% of my matches where I have ping over 100+, and the rest of the lobby is under 100. DBD is the only game where the ping is this bad for me. The high ping makes it so the game is pretty much unplayable. Anyone else experiencing the same thing, or am I going mad?
I checked their profiles after the game, and every one of these players was in the UK.
