Add steam achivments more often and make fun ones

In the past you have made fun of challenging ones like Power Moves and Evil Incarnate. Most now are just the 2 adept and a boring one you will earn just by playing the game. Why not support achievements more in general and maybe make embles and calling cards for them if not even that just more support a repetitive game by nature, it can add a lot of replayability. If you look on youtube Evil Incarnate every major creator has a video on it becuase its the most iconic achievement and challenge in the game. It is fun for players and free advertisement.

I agree, Achievements are fun to do.

Except there is a bunch of people around, who only focus on completing Achievements and they will complain about every little thing of it if its too hard to get. They seem to forget achievements are the fun we have along the way to get it.

    Personally I want more achievements.

Yeah, I understand some of the event challenges would make people play in an unfun way for a week or some book challenges. But I think in the long run, it would be fun because I think we all get bored with the game sometimes, and these fun, creative challenges that wouldn't hurt things would be nice. I'm an achievement hunter myself and have done most of them already. I've had the game since launch on Xbox so I've basically done it all. I just personally hate the ones recently, which is hit a survivor at the exit gate or escape a chase in a locker, they are lazy and not fun.

Ironically the escape into a locker is much easier with the new Fog Vials.

If you want some insight of how Behavior adds achievements in this game I can give you some info that I have myself observed. They add achievements every time they add new content to the game that usually is DLC either original or licensed. If the DLC has both survivor(s) and killer there will be six new achievements. If there is only a killer or only survivor(s) there will be three new achievements. Both sides get three achievement if that side gets a new character(s) in the DLC. At least one of those achievements is always the adept achievement and all new characters added will get one. Killer usually gets one achievement that is linked to them and is not achievable with other killers. If there is a survivor(s) in the DLC and there is a new map added with the DLC then one of the survivor achievements is fixing the gen in the main building achievement. After this the rest of the achievements usually have something to do with the new characters added but are not always linked to them only.

    Examples:

Dungeons & Dragons added one new killer, one new survivor and new map. This makes them add six achievements as there is a new killer and survivor. First one becomes the new killers adept achievement. Second achievement is made to be achievement linked to the killer and third becomes universal achievement that can be got with any killer. Fourth achievement becomes the new survivors adept achievement. Fifth becomes the fix gen in the main building of the map achievement. That leaves one achievement for survivors that is made as universal achievements that can be done by any survivor.

Castlevania added one new killer and one new survivor. This makes them add six achievements as there is a new killer and survivor. First one becomes the new killers adept achievement. Second achievement is made to be achievement linked to the killer and third becomes universal achievement that can be got with any killer. Fourth achievement becomes the new survivors adept achievement. As there is no new map so no gen fixing in the main building achievement. That leaves two achievements for survivors that are made as universal achievements that can be done by any survivor.

Steady Pulse added one new survivor. This makes them add three achievements as no new killer. One of the achievements becomes the survivor adept achievement. The other two achievements become universal achievements that can be gained with any survivor

Five Nights at Freddy's added one new killer and new map. This makes them add three achievements as no new survivor. First one becomes the new killers adept achievement. As there is no new survivor in the DLC there is no gen fixing in the main building achievement. This leaves two achievements left. One is made to be achievement linked to the killer and the second becomes universal achievement that can be got with any killer

The Walking Dead added two new survivors and new map. This makes them add three achievements as no new killer. Two of the achievements becomes the survivors adept achievements. The last achievement becomes the fixing the gen in the main building of the map achievement.

Yeah, i understand, but at least back then, like my 2 examples, they wouldn't always follow this formula that they do which is why it's boring and nothing fun or exciting comes out. Challenges and achievements you would earn without knowing they exist is not as fun, and id hope everyone agrees. The Walking Dead is the worst example to me, 2 adept and a gen why not stick with 6 always or even more and do fun things, I know it's harder on Xbox and PS5, so I don't expect them to add achievements any other time than a DLC.
