Trapper buff / rework suggestion (V2)

The community has always expressed seeing a trapper getting a worthy buff, and the devs said they want to keep it simple, but listening to what the community has to suggest, here's my suggestion to make the game's first killer MUCH BETTER.

Trapper Base Kit Buffs

Increased maximum number of carried traps:

From 2 to 8.

Increased number of carried traps at the start of the match:

From 2 to 5.

Reduced number of traps spawned on the map:

From 8 to 5.

Improved trap setup speed:

Reduced setup time from 2.5 seconds to 2 seconds.

Incorporated Lengthened Jaws effect into base kit:

Survivors who escape a Bear Trap on their own suffer the Deep Wound status effect.

Incorporated Wax Brick effect into base kit:

The Trapper is unaffected by his Bear Traps (he is not trapped in them).

New Addons:

New Add-ons for the Trapper

Add-on Green (Uncommon): Taut Chain

Description: A reinforced chain that increases the resistance of traps, making escape more difficult.
Effect:

  • Increases the Escape Attempt time of Bear Traps by +10% (from 1.8 seconds to 1.98 seconds).
  • For each attempt a survivor makes to escape a Bear Trap, the time for subsequent Escape Attempts increases by an additional +10% (stacking additively, e.g., 1.98s to 2.178s after one attempt, 2.3958s after two, etc.).

Add-on Brown (Common): Stiff Spring

Description: A hardened spring that makes traps more difficult to disarm.
Effect:

  • Increases the Disarm time of Bear Traps by +15% (from 3.5 seconds to 4.025 seconds).

    For those who are in doubt, the trapper would still have a total of 10 traps on the map, there was no nerf in this suggestion.

    The overall performance of the trapper should improve considerably with these adjustments as well.
