Is mastermind or ghoul a stronger killer?
title
I would like you to link me a tierlist or comparasion if such thing exists, or your own comparasion if you think you're well informed and equipped enough to answer such a complicated question.
The reason I'm comparing these 2 killers next to eachother is because they are both very similar by leaping at survivors and vaulting over pallets.

I think those are actually close...
At highest level I would say Wesker, but Ghoul is simply so much easier to play as, so he is going to perform better overall.-6 -
Ghoul

Ghoul is stronger. Their power seems similar, but thats not really the case.
Ghoul has a far better map pressure and easier injures, Wesker has a better, but more difficult chase power for the final hit.
Wesker is more map dependent. Weird collisions, different tiles, it all can make you suffer.

Ghoul :
— Constant slowdown by deep wound
— Completely counters shift w + pre run
— Free first hit
— Mobility that allows him to pressure 2 people at the same time
— Less cooldown after vault in enrage mod
— Bodyblock
— Low skill floor
But he also has:
— Bigger slowdown after vault
— Punishment for breaking palletes, so it force him loop rather than break and catch up in dead zone constantly
— Priority on vault hitbox rather than survivor that causing awkward moments
— Leap can be prevented by bodyblocking and u aren’t able to make a hit
— Heavily depends on will survivor bodyblock the window to force bite instead of vaulting
— Mobility isn’t actually good as anti loop, weakness against t/l walls or short loops without bamboozle/brutal strength. Against good survivor after taking hit he is more likely will forced to be m1 killer in 1 vs 1. Can counter only abused loop because of vaulting
— Low skill ceiling
— Less strong zoning potential
— Weak on indoor maps
Wesker
— His dashes covers 90% of tiles if playing it right, he doesn't have serious weakness in anti loop if we’ll not considering his bugs
— Constant hindered status after hitting
— Infection that also works as slow down as deep wound + improve ability cooldown
— Strong 1 v 1 potential even against extremely good survivors, because he can’t be forced to be m1 killer and requires niche understanding of counterplay, so on high skill ceiling he is hard to counterplay
— Can counter shift w, but less efficient than ghoul
— Bodyblock
— High skill ceiling
— Stronger zoning potential
But:
— Poor mobility. Dashes can’t help up catch up survivor if he prerunned you. Only when u are already in chase with him
— Low pressure. He is meant for fast chases, because can’t pressure multiple people if they spread out. U need force pressure yourself as player, that requires high macro knowledge
— Bugs. Bugs. Many, many bugs.
— Bigger cooldown after vault but less slowdown than ghoul— Ping highly dependancy
— Vault priority as well
— Small and more inconvenient hitbox— Weak on indoor maps
For me ghoul on tier higher only because of his mobility and pressure thing. In chase… if we considering survivor knows counterplay, Wesker seems stronger in 1v1 if it's good killer player against good survivor player. That’s IMHO
I prefer Wesker because he provides skill ceiling. I just like such type of killers

Ghoul by far. Wesker isn't that good

It should be mentioned for future readers that the reason getting the first hit as ghoul is so much easier than wesker is because the leap is actually hitscan and has autoaim. In practice this means that even if you miss by just a little bit, you get the hit, as well as you damaging the survivor even if they manage to run behind cover in the time between "getting hit" and actually taking damage after the leap animation

Is this a serious question…? Wesker is a mid tier killer, Kaneki is a (low) S tier one.

I assume this hit scan works with same principle of ghostie and Myers stalking. One pixel of body is enough to detect whole survivor

if it was release wesker, they would be on the same level
but currently its ghoul

I'm seeing a lot of people claiming that Wesker is on the same level as Kaneki, and I'm like, whaaaaaaaaaaa?
Wesker was never a good killer, he was always average. It took people a long time to realize that Wesker isn't a good killer.

Wesker has never ever been close to be as strong as Kaneki under any circumstances.

This.

i mean he was pretty strong on release
infection took less time to reach full, his grab was huge, he didn't bump into everything and his power recharged faster and used to retract much faster i think the only thing kaneki beats him in is the scamper and the mobility

Wesker is balanced. Ghoul is not.

thank you for your attention to detail

Ghoul is way stronger. It's not even close

Wesker stopped being good when his entire character identity got nerfed.
Wesker's character identity was that his infection mechanic was very powerful, and survivors would eventually run out of syringes, and be stuck at 8% hindered for the rest of the game.
But his infection mechanic got double nerfed, and now he's stuck with a below average kill rate. But his character is popular enough that people still play him. It's pretty much like Springtrap, where it's the jackpot of game balance, where the killer is weaker than average, but still has a high pick rate.

Ghoul is easily stronger. Hes commonly considered a top 5 killer, and it shows

Ghoul easily. Wesker suffers too much traveling from point A to point B and finishing chases takes longer than he can afford when everyone’s sweating. Ghoul can take some time to get the down, but can easily travel the map to pressure gens and come right back for the tunnel out, and can easily apply pressure with an injury without needing to commit for a long time like Wesker would.

Pre infection nerfs mastermind. Post infection nerfs ghoul.
