Chat support for consoles?
I’m really positive about this idea because I’ve always wanted to interact more with both my teammates and the opposite side after matches.
I understand the concerns about toxicity, but right now it feels unfair that PC players can use chat while console players can’t even view or respond to it. Especially after the keyboard support (which im really happy about, thank you for listening to us Behaviour <3) players now dont face the "slow type" issue on console.
If players want to type they can, and if they don’t have the time or mood they won’t—it’s totally optional.
As someone who plays both sides, it can be frustrating not being able to communicate. I dont want to see toxicity either, but i want to see people warming up to eachother, especially since on PC most people write "GG" and i cant even see that :(
A simple solution could be a toggle option that lets players turn chat on or off if they don’t want to see it. That way, everyone has the choice.

I understand that. But i do not wish to only be able to type certain phrases. I want to communicate with people. not a robot. if you get what im saying. but thanks for the link, i appreciate it :D

Aren't They adding keyboard and mouse support for consoles? No excuse not to have it after that

I believe it was already added a patch or two ago. Dunno how many use it.

been asking for this since I first started playing dbd in 2018 a shame console is so rejected. You can’t even whisper or send a message to a person on a different platform. And they wonder why Solo q is so bad.
