Low graphics hairs
Can we please have new hair skins fixed? They look terrible on low graphics!
I really want to buy Daryl's skin, but I can't stand those hair.
Same thing for Rick, Taurie.

Yeah this has been a problem for years, I always buy the cosmetics that dont have this problem.

they look horrible on ultra as well. The ciri skin has a bald spot and the tied up part at the back goes transparent. I’m at the point where if they don’t change these I’m done buying cosmetics.

There are so settings you can turn on that sorta hides this better. but its taxing on machines.. Its one of these:

anti-aliasing helps but barely. It still looks objectively bad.

It's how modern games dither hair to look more realistic, but DBD's engine doesn't really bring out the full potential in my opinion. The models look great ported to other games though.

No game does it good because the dither is base on AA and every modern game uses FXAA or TAA and never the good ones. So you always need to choose between hair/foliage looking like a pixelated mess or your entire screen looking like someone has smeared vaseline on it with ghosting and motion blur caused by the TAA/FXAA so no matter what you choose something always looks terrible.
I'm getting really tired of it honestly, I miss the days where everything looked sharp and clear.

It was nice too when a game looked good and didn't need 100gbs on the graphics alone 😵
