A thank you...
Hello all.
I started playing Dead By Daylight in 2017 and I met my partner later that same year whilst in solo queue. He was playing as Myers and I was playing as Laurie and we ended up hitting it off over PSN messages and became really good friends which progressed from platonic into romantic. Come early 2019 and we were living together and planning our lives together. One day at a time.
Earlier this year he sadly passed away after a battle with cancer and although I've lost my partner in crime, I've found solace in playing Dead By Daylight. As the game is filled with so many funny / memorable moments we shared together, I can't help but find comfort whenever I load the game up and hear that menu music playing. It's like a warm hug on a cold day.
My life will never be the same, but I feel like I keep his memory alive each time I play Dead By Daylight. One of his most wanted chapters was FNAF and even though he never got to play it for himself, I got to experience it on his behalf. It's one of the things that keeps me playing. I may be back in solo queue, but I know he's still with me. So in a strange way, I guess I'll forever be in a SWF.
I want to thank the developers / creators for bringing my soul mate into my life. If it wasn't for this game, I would never have experienced a love like this. A love I'll keep with me for a lifetime. <3

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you all the best for the future.
As a Halloween fan I love that you both met playing Michael and Laurie. That's so cute.
