Bringing the old aesthetic of DBD back as an option
Hi, as the title suggests, I would like an option to either choose the classic look of DBD (something as old as the ST chapter) or the newer updated look of DBD. Like how Halo the masterchief collection did choosing between its classic style or an updated style.
I've been playing dead by daylight ever since the blight chapter, so I've spent time more with modern dbd than old dbd. But there's still a part ot me that really LOVES the janky, indie, dark tone of dead by daylight. Aesthetics and graphics are really the only thing I miss about old dead by daylight. I miss so much that when modding was still possible for DBD, I installed every mod that tried to bring back old DBD's aesthetics (Animations and lighting) but obv modding was removed and I got forced to play DBD in its (in my opinion) very generic looking graphics and aesthetics.
So to have an option to set DBD's graphics and survivor animations to it's old/classic version is very appealing to me. It doesn't NEED to be server sided, it can just be client side as I do not want to force other players to have their game look like something they do not want.
So please behavior, I'm not a game developer so this idea might be hard to implement or even straight up impossible but, I and hopefully many others, would love this. Please consider, thanks <33
