The Survivor Bias is insane
Tunneling gets wrecked but being able to get 4 gen speed perks and the best toolbox is not, flashbang/pallet saves with SWF are uncounterable unless you spend another 30-60s chasing the camping guy (good luck having impact with the new crawling speed anti-tunnel), Twins and Oni get their kits trashed because they were made around slugging, survivors get like another 5 perk effects basekit, a damn hook counter is removed for NO reason, it has no correlation to tunneling and was just there for killer QoL, your ability to deduce survivors locations is getting nerfed because the unhook notificaition delay, Pig and Sadako get trashed for no reason, etc.
The killer side gets like 10 nerfs this patch when the game was in a relatively good spot. The peer pressure from bad survivors is crazy effective.

Getting pop and BBQ for free, base kit, and even on first hook (so, even if you are tunneling) is a pretty big buff for killers.

Not gonna lie, the reaction to this patch is really giving me flashbacks to when a certain chunk of players were saying that Weaving Spiders was actually OP.

Lol. I'm sorry, but I don't think that a few seconds of aura reading and an extra 5% gen kick is going to make up for all the nerfs.

but killer can't avoid 4.6~4.8m/s survivor Protect attacks inside killer.

So, even getting into a locker to avoid BBQ (which was literally meta pre-6.1) is slowdown. You have to find a locker, wait out the aura read, and go back.
Pop isn't avoidable. The only way to prevent kicks is either gen block (so, repressed alliance) or to give up a health state or two working the gen while the killer gets free hits.
Honestly not sure what the middle paragraph is trying to say, but you should look up base movement speeds at minimum. It might surprise you to learn that killers are faster than survivors.
Gens aren't the killers objective, survivors are. Gens are a consumable resource for the killer, and, coincidentally, the killer can still get kills or even 4k after all gens are complete.

And yet, it is a buff, and it's incentive to not tunnel. Two things that killers have been asking for.
Three, really, since it's literally regression reward.
And you can entirely choose to not opt into those buffs and continue to tunnel. That's still a choice. It just happens to be a choice with consequences, and it may not be the "best option in every situation no matter what".
It would really be great if people had to use their game knowledge, game sense, and skill to determine which strategy was best instead of just always doing the same thing, regardless of what else happens in a match.
I'm surprised so many of these "Max MMR" killer gods on these forums aren't chomping at the bit to finally show off their actual skills.

I know that you are not the survivor player that good enough.
Not revealing information to the killer is more important than 10% generator progress.
if you get 3 teammate in voicechat, sometimes you have to Get off the generator and watch the killer movement, report to teammates.

Except the game wasn't in a good spot? Killer queues have been 10+ minutes at all times even during peak swf hours since before ghoul. How can anyone claim the game is survivor sided when they have permanent insta-queues??
These are good changes that are probably targeting new player retention, a likely high priority following the fnaf and walking dead releases.
If you can't win a game without tunneling out a new player then git gud.

Interesting, since even one minutes consideration would tell you you don't have to 12 hook to avoid this system and purely get buffs.
If you can't adapt your play style, and can't even consider the ramifications of proposed changes, them I'd argue that you shouldn't be going up against "experienced teams" and should be going against people more on your own skill level.
Which is what I suspect will happen for many killers once this system goes live and hard tunneling stops boosting people into MMR brackets where they don't belong.

Reading comprehension is important. Read again and I agree with this.
I hopped in a locker nearly every hook before 6.1 because of this fact. It doesn't change the fact that my point is, for the killer, that they are getting time off gens with this feature, for free.
BBQ stopped being meta, and aura reading became so diverse it became impossible to predict, so people stopped doing this. But the feature will encourage survivors to do it again.
I'm also going to add that aura reading isn't the only way to find people. Paying attention to surroundings, scratch marks, gen progress, or just generally knowing where you've already been but haven't seen sable yet, are all game sense ways of locating survivors.

I don't kick gens. I still play with a mindset similar to what most people had before 6.1 that "gens aren't generally worth kicking" and I'd rather be pressuring a survivor with that time.
And yes, part of that means that I didn't run eruption during that meta either.
I get slowdown from pressuring survivors on the map, and spreading pressure means these changes are a huge buff to my play style. And I play the super overpowered, highly mobile pig.

killer's BBQ is not free. survivor don't need to do something to get free perk, just save hooks will get free [Borrowed Time]. even get hooked is survivor's mistake.
Killer needs to hook 1 survivor, then hook different survivors to trigger this BBQ.
killer need to:
find - chase - hit survivor down - pick up - move - hook. (Survivors can thwart the killer in any of these links.)
if you know what is "Trigger cost"
(For example: [Ruin] only need killer Drive away the survivors in repairs, [Oppression] need kick gen, [Surge] need M1 downed survivor, SHook:PR need killer hook on SHook.)
killer that don't have Knock out immediately like [HILLBILLY], survivor have injured to downed time to find locker.(min:2.7+2.7+3+1.5≈10s) if 10s(22.5~40m) you can't find a locker, you may need play more.
OR carry perk like [Boon: Shadow Step] [Sole Survivor] [Distortion].
if you don't like carry perk to Counter Obvious perk.
Just like survivor clearly know killer tunnel is Very efficient way to kill more survivor, but survivor still don't carry any perk like: [Unbreakable] [DS] [Shoulder the Burden] [Reassurance] [Borrowed Time], just cry killer tunnel, have Frustration.
until get free perk.
(don't cry some perk need money, they already in 【Shrine of Secrets】 several times.)
Now, you still can cry The aura gives frustration, let BEHVR give some free block aura perk to survivors.
You know what's the most interesting part of this?
survivors always get free perk for 0 cost.
survivor's mistake needs to be borne by the killer.
The stronger the survivor, the weaker the survivor.

even assuming you're right the perks are LOCKED behind forcing your way into not tunneling (which, by the way, ALL survivors will now abuse the system like they do now with DS and OTR to actively make you tunnel), 4 killers get their BASE KITS trashed, while the killer gets a "free" pop, wow

Thats not incentivising me not to tunnel, its the punishments that are. Pretty much every match with these changes are gonna be garunteed 3-2 out at least now because of the various buffs your 3 teammates get when you die. 3v1 is essentially a 4v1 still with these buffs.
