I have seen so many people on youtube complaining about the anti-tunneling change. I think this change needed to happen but I do see their point. What if someone is stupid enough to walk in front of you after being unhooked? Do you just pass them by? There is so much potential for toxicity and bullying there.
Here is my suggestion…. change it to a timed thing… so if someone is unhooked, and the killer hooks them within 60 seconds, everything happens exactly the way the update has it listed… However, if it's been more than 60 seconds, it doesn't count as tunneling. Just a suggestion.
This would prevent hard tunneling off the hook, which is why this change is so desperately needed. But still allows the killer to kill someone who happens to wander their way more than a minute later.
I am not taking sides here. I play both killer and survivor and I have almost 6000 hours in the game (and finished every challenge and achievement for killer and survivor). I'm trying to find a middle ground.
