Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

New mechanics

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to check back in to beat my drum again. Been a while.

Been checking out the event modes. I like the diversity. These are fun distractions from the major issue that I have.

That issue is generators.

I wish generators weren't the only way to escape - or at the very least I wish there were perks that passively did generators for you while you do something else.

For example:

• Interact with a totem to give it a permanent boon that will add 1 charge to the nearest generator every 5 seconds. All unbroken totems can be blessed with this. Has a different aura and classification than blessed. Idk. Sanctified.

• Sacrifice an item to gain 10 charges on a generator.

• Gain crows over time. Performing a hide in locker animation removes crows. While in a locker the number of perching crows will grant 1 charge per crow per 5 seconds to a nearby generator.

• Create your own hatch by performing a rite of passage. Once summoned the hatch will need to be unlocked with a key.

• Summon a pet companion firefly that will guide you towards nearby objects. Toggle what kind of objective you want to find by intetacting with the pet.

• Repair the gate directly costing 10 generators worth of charges.

• Collect fragments to slip between the real world and a spiritual world temporarily. Collecting all of the fragments will unsummom you from the trial.

•Add Stumbling, tripping, and vault skill checks

• Add broken bone and torn muscle injuries that cause limping or reduced manual dexterity.

• Add distinct mini-games that are more than just hold button to make number go up. Press button to prevent number go down.

Idk. Just make new stuff.

If you need ideas - i'm an open book.

It's sort of the only thing i like to do anymore.
