Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Why do killers always get what they want when 4x more survivors are needed to sustain the game?

Except in reality the killer que is super unhealthy right now. You have close to a 50/50 split of killers to survivors playing when you need 25/75 half of you could quit and the game would literally be in a better spot... Why do you think they are rolling out play while you wait? I've never had to wait as a survivor games que basically instantly while it does seem bad waiting 3-5 mins for a killer game is really really bad and points to a dying game. But you can clearly see it's not the player base is still huge. But to many people are giving up on survivor game play especially when playing alone.

I'm going to get hate for saying this, but i dont mind if the survivors who are demanding these changes actually do stop playing this game.

Maybe after that soloQ will be better. Less survivors DCing because they got hit first. Less survivors dropping every single pallet in first chase with windows and leaving nothing for the rest of the match. Less survivors hiding in corners doing nothing. Less survivors leaving me to my first hook.

Maybe after the loud people who demand survivor to be spoonfed their victories leave, the people who have learned this game without 20 basekit perks will have better lobbies.

What server do you play on? I'm on EU servers and quite often during peak times (late afternoon/evenings) killer has a BP incentive (excluding 2v8 where survivor always has the 5X).

Maybe it's different where you're at but queue times have never been an issue for me, I wait longer to find a match in Overwatch than DbD.

if the survivor numbers drop too low they will replace survivors with bots. they snuck it into 2v8 with 2 bots per team, now 1v4 they will likely first try to sneak 1 bot in and go from there.

I think backlash was quite big for them to try this anytime soon and it's something that would be difficult to implement unnoticed.
It's more likely to see extra queue option that will let you play whatever role is needed for extra BP.

It's really hard to tell. Ive seen so many killers genuinely feel this way.

I will say that ever since the PTB with the anti-tunnel and anti-slugging changes was announced, I've experienced vastly more tunnelling and slugging from killers. Like it was already bad, now it's a miracle to go a single game without one or the other happening.

Which suffice to say is not improving my general sentiment towards the devs decisions at the moment.

Always seems to happen when they put a large nerf on the PTB. I remember when Dead Hard was getting reworked, suddenly it appeared on every survivor load out. It's like people feel the need to capitalise on something "before it's gone".

That being said, I've also noticed an increase in BMing behaviour from some killers, not just the use of a strategy, but the humping and hitting on hook. Not much that can be done about it though.

Yep. Lotta that too. Those kind of behaviours have been more present in my games lately than ever before. Slugging, humping, tunnelling, proxy camping, hitting on hook. It's hard not to draw some kind of line between the drastic increase in toxic behaviour from killers and all this from the devs.

1st. Killer didn't get sh*t for YEARS. 2nd. You need at least 1 killer to play to get a game for 4 others. So, who is more important for the game?

All the thing you describe haven't been really happening in the past few weeks for me. Solo Queue has been giving me good team mates and there have been very few ridiculously one sided matches. Over the past 30 days, the stats app tells me I have a 50% escape rate and that's even with me often using builds picked with a random number off my Alexa and matching it up with whatever perk they correspond with on the Nightlight list of perk usage and making a build based around it.

Wonder what could have been happening the past few weeks to take away these annoying survivors that seem to hate the game but keep playing it and then throwing the toys out when they get downed first?

The amount of people on this forum that fail to understand what these anti tunnelling changes in the form BHVR put them into the PTB would have done to the game in a negative way, is astonishing!

Honest i think most of them were playing in 2v8. The amount of times i saw people hiding in corners and leaving people to hooks to die i cant even count it with 2 hands.

I played first time 1v4 today and well..sigh…. i had few good matches but then i got few of these that i described earlier and all i can say we lost the match.

Nah no one wanted to play with or against bots in 2v8 and it got removed, they certainly wont ever get away with putting mandatory bots in 1v4. If it comes to that the game is just dead so pull the plug and let the game end service.

No one plays a PvP game for bots.
