The Ghoul. Why.

I get it. They want to sell characters. And they want to appeal to the interests of the audience of a specific chapter… in Tokyo Ghoul's case; anime power-trip fantasy of every weeb…

But did they really, REALLY have to give a braindead "point and click" laggy Hit Scan that Injures + applies Slowdown with a Self-Buff that CAN'T, I repeat, CAN'T be removed by anything other than a time limit and can be applied to MULTIPLE SURVIVORS. And did they really REALLY need to give him an anti-loop power built in with anti-transition ( The Skidmarking he does) AND the hold hostage at windows/Vaults (The Kidnap GARBAGE) AND THE INSANE MOBILITY?!
WHEN DOES THE MADNESS END.
THAT'S THE QUESTION BECAUSE IT FEELS LIKE IT'LL NEVER BE BALANCED AND JUST STAY BUSTED AND ANNOYING/OBNOXIOUS TO GO AGAINST WHILE LISTENING TO KEN AND RIZE SCREAMJACULATE AND SLOBBERGASM ALL OVER.

high reward for low effort = why everyone hates ghoul

high reward for low effort is appealing to some killers and certain playstyles = $

Even if it was as simple a change as to remove the lock-on mechanism, the Ghoul would be more bearable to play against. He's locking on to people like an F-16 firing missiles. And let survivors keep running instead of halting them to a dead stop when he does.

It's the same as if Deathslinger had aimbot. They would never do something like that for him (or even Demogorgon's shred attack) - but yet they've happily done it for Ghoul.

But, as said above, the biggest factor is the $$$$$$ sounds in the bank account.
