BAH!

Dear Developers,

I am writing this out of pure frustration, because at this point playing survivor has become unlivable. This is no longer about “challenge” or “competitive gameplay” – it’s about being completely robbed of any chance to actually play the game.

Every single match looks the same:

  • Killers tunnel relentlessly, deleting one player from the match within minutes.
  • Killers slug across the map, leaving half the team bleeding on the ground for eternity until everyone bleeds out.
  • There is zero fun, zero fairness, and zero respect for the survivor side.

Tell me: how are we supposed to “enjoy” this? Where is the fair game you keep talking about? Survivors can’t even breathe before they’re tunneled off the hook or left to rot on the floor. It’s disgusting.

So here’s what’s going to happen: we’re calling for a nationwide Survivor strike. We refuse to queue, we refuse to give killers their games, and we refuse to support this broken balance until we are given:

  • Matches that are actually playable, not instant death simulators.
  • Real solutions to tunneling and slugging, instead of excuses.
  • Respect for the survivor community, because without us, there IS no Dead by Daylight.

Until then, don’t expect us to keep feeding this unfair system. Survivors are done being punching bags.

Signed,

A survivor who’s tired of being tunneled out at 3 gens and slugged like garbage.

Everything you said is true but it doesn't matter because, as you point out, there is no respect in this game. No one is motivated to change.

A lot changes hurt the M1 base killer and does not impact the top tier killers. Base anti-camp does little to the best killers which have tons of movement tools to knock a player down.

BHVR: Let's try to stop tunneling. It's too strong.

Top Tier Killers: That's too punishing. Revert it.

Lesser Killers: Ooh, that "tunneling" IS strong! They were right!

That's why you're seeing so much of it, now.

I keep telling everyone slugging, camping and tunneling is like every match but killers want their easy wins. They don't want to hear it and the devs favor killers.

U can’t reduce gen efficiency, because if nerfing it severely, it will feel punished for people to complete to main objective, but with good RGN and team that can spread u need basically around 5 to 9 minutes of people working to be in endgame without any struggle, so u can’t completely remove tunneling because it also can be too punishing.

So it’s lose lose situation. If u want to nerf the approach to main objective, it will feel to punished to play the game.

Killer when loading don’t see difference between efficient and not efficient team, comms and no comms, so they’ll tunnel anyway.

If killers would be balanced around perks so they can’t abuse specific builds and survivors would be more encouraged for playing efficient, as well as buffed it won’t feel too oppressive.

Survivors need more free aura read perks for each other and better maps so u can actually 1vs1 without struggle on some Haddonfield where u just don’t have distance to reach tile. “Anti” is just a crutch and never should be proper solution , because u are fighting with the way how people play by system, that's ridiculous. U either don’t have such issue from the start, or forced to play around this issue. In asymmetrical games u are more likely to be forced to play around this issue

Solo on mid MMR almost not using any antitunnel perks. No wonder killers abuse it.
