Cross progression question

Recently my laptop got busted, and I have no choice but to play on the switch version of DBD. My question is, do characters purchased with Auric Cells on the Switch carry over to Steam? Asking this just to make sure for when I get my laptop fixed.

    Yes, Auric cell purchases absolutely will carry over. But chapters bought from the Nintendo eShop won't transfer.

    And any Auric cells that you have remaining will be "trapped" on your Switch account (if you buy any there), but you can still access Auric cells that you have on other platforms on the Switch and combine them both to make Switch purchases. Hope that helps.
