Everything wrong with new Michael Myers

In my opinion the long awaited Michael Myers rework is a complete failure for several reasons…

Old Myers rewarded smart, distant stalking for faster progress. New Myers pushes you to stalk mid-chase, the penalty for moving is negligible, you build Tier 3 quite fast, and the reduced stalk range makes stealthier plays worse.

Slaughtering Strike is overloaded with sound effects, from Survivor POV his knife looks like a broken UV map, his Tier 3 stance no longer changes which makes the tier feel kinda bland, and the pallet break animation feels unfinished. The cooldown after every strike is awful, waiting 6 seconds for a limited, self-slowing insta-down feels terrible. Combine that with a 40m terror radius on an already slow killer and you get what we got…

Tier 3 feels weirdly weaker in some places than Tier 2, in the latter you get bigger lunge range, faster breaking speed, vault speed, and stun recovery speed. Meanwhile in Tier 3 you only get vault speed with the same values as Tier 3… But at the same time you don't really want to be in Tier 2 and just have your Tier 3 train rolling, because you know, that's his brand new "fun" power now. The balancing is strange nontheless.

Also who thought it would be a good idea to introduce a stalk decay mechanic is beyond me.

The only real good things about this rework are increased lunge in tier 1, ability to trigger tier 3 on commnad instead of 99ing the progress bar, and that's about it, Michael lost his identity for being a simple, even tho weak, killer that was faithful to his source material, all he is now is a sorry excuse of a killer that won't really go up in tiers since he is still quite bad compared to everything that is in the game.

You could have introduced something new to Old Myers, I have heared about an out of sight teleport idea which could have been cool with the old kit I guess, but now Myers will just rot like Hillbilly did before his second rework.
