Krasue Auto-Aim is Insane
I've heard a lot of talk about the auto-aim, and I wasn't quite grasping exactly… HOW strong it is.
Until I saw this video.
This is, well. Insane.
The projectiles literally bounce backwards against logical physics to magnetize to Survivors, you don't even have to try aiming.
This Killer has had all skill expression totally and utterly ripped out from her to give free, effortless hits and downs.
No Cooldown PLUS Auto-Aim = Free Zoning
Considering the fact that there is literally NO cooldown from using Regurgitate into using an M1, this gives Krasue the free-est projectile in the game. Survivors aren't rewarded for dodging the projectile - as a matter of fact, they're punished for dodging the projectile! Because the projectiles magnetizes directly to them, and now they're out of position, and Krasue can IMMEDIATELY follow up with an M1 after spitting.
So, trying to dodge the projectiles is worthless because they just magnetize to Survivors anyway, you probably still get infected because of that, AND you get hit with an M1 attack along the way whether or not you manage to dodge the projectile.
It's very frustrating that a killer THIS strong has auto-aim, on top of passive injuries, no-windup lunges, built-in hugtechs, and Scampers.
Players should need to at least try to aim their powers.

here i thought that the krasue that was bankshotting me had really good aim. Turns out this is just Kaneki 2.0

I knew there was some autoaim but I did not realize it was that strong. I really don't like the concept of autoaim in this game at all tbh, let alone on a killer that's already really strong

Exactly how could this killer work at all with a controller without that auto-aim?

Probably fine enough honestly. Or at least not much different from MnK. The initial projectile hitbox & shotgun spread effect is pretty generous as-is, especially since it's semi-spammable. And it's not Trickster where you need perfect tracking for multiple hits, so you don't feel the high stick deadzone problem DbD has as much.
What it comes down to is if the devs feel the killer would be too frustating to play without it. And if they make all of the head mode stuff reasonable, then it might be.

LMAAAAOOOO yeah, ok, so with each day, we realize she's even more braindead. What on Earth is that?
She's got everything and now autoaimed projectiles.
But she's somewhat a "worse Plague" or B-tier. Sure.1 -
I wish they'd quit doing this stuff. First with ghoul and now this. It just dumbs down the game and makes it even more casual and one dimensional than it already is.

Maybe a light aim assist that gently pulls it would be okay, but this is crazy unnecessary considering how easily spammable the projectile is and how little distance she loses shooting it.
Problem is that missing intentionally almost guarantees a hit; it doesn't really matter what kind of input device you're using, a miss should be a miss.
But that's not the case with Krasue for any aspect of the 'skillful' components of her power: if you miss the projectile, it autoaims for you.
If you miss the dash, you can just hug tech around obstacles and readjust your dash angle to almost any degree.
A miss should be a miss, not a hit.

It's just really tone-deaf at this point for this company to keep putting out busted killers like this after all the feedback about Chucky's release and Ghoul's release.
I think their rationale is that they want new characters to be 'easy' and appealing for new players to pick up… but when a killer has absolutely zero skill expression… you're rewarding new players with your bad design. And those people will never get better at the game because they don't have to.
I miss old DBD when skill expression meant something. People invested thousands of hours into a nurse or blight to get insanely good at them because there was a steep learning curve to truly master them. And when you went against a really great nurse or blight, you knew that person sank a lot of time into getting that good at the game.
Now, somebody with barely 500 hours can just buy whatever latest slop killer BHVR puts out and feel like a god. It makes zero sense to me.

I do think that characters should be intuitive to pick up and be okay with. Characters should be fun on the first play, not after sinking 20 hours especially when most DBD players are casual.
But, I definitely agree that the recent game design's direction is worrying. Every new Killer and many recent reworks seem to have a design intent at removing skill to make getting downs effortless and nearly unavoidable with enough chase time.
2 recent killers have released with auto-aim, and a recent rework just had 2 different forms of auto-aim implemented into the power (Singularity)! Granted, I do agree that it grants controller players an easier time but M&Kb players are stomping.

I mean, I mostly agree with this. But 'fun' on the first playthrough is so subjective. I think people should spend time learning how a character works and invest time mastering how they play. To me, that's fun. You shouldn't be able to sink 10-20 hours into a character and 'master' them.

i hate to say it but maybe its all part of bhvr master plan to get rid of tunneling…. as unlikely as it seems, its possible.
Why do killers tunnel? because spreading hooks and leaving 4 players in the game often isnt enough time before all gens are done. nerf tunneling and killers struggle.
so how does bhvr intend to get rid of a tactic that is so heavily relied on? by making it so killers can down faster and easier without needing to tunnel. gens fly, downs fly, the match is fast paced action packed and over in 5min either by gens being done or a 4k.
bhvr seems to be accomplishing the easier to down and kill with all these auto aim, mindless, no skill speed freaks that fly around the place. maybe the tunneling nerfs are due?
or its bhvr pretty much saying tunneling is here to stay "here have another killer designed to camp, slug and tunnel."
Either way, bhvr seems to be going about the design of the game all wrong for one side or the other.

At some point they realized that making things require no effort resulted in more DLC being sold. It's actually ridiculous at this point. This level of hand holding is insane for a theoretically competitive game.
