SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Rift Challenges completed are desynced

PLATFORM: PC

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: just play the game, the challenges done and those who count are desynced. In my case 7 weekly challenges completely done, so 5 * 7 = 35, then add 4 * 2 = 8, so 43 challenges done in total

but only 34 challenges are counted

This! I've completed 42 Rift Pass quests but only 33 are counting towards that final goal for the Catacomb Study banner. This needs to be fixed. I'm so tired of the limited-time quest counts being broken. Players shouldn't be required to complete all Rift Pass quests to unlock the final banner. Even the Tomes let you pick a path, they didn't require you to do every single challenge, and the majority of Tomes were not time-limited.

There's my screenshot as proof. In the sidebar it shows 45 Rift Pass quests completed. 3 of those are Completion quests, so that means 42 weekly quests are completed. But there in the final Rift Pass Completion Quest it says "33/40."

That's 9 completed quests it's not counting. That's not a small number. That's 1 quest per week not being counted, and each week only has 5 quests.

I submitted a bug ticket about this and I received this response:

If that's correct, then only four of the five weekly Rift Pass quests count towards the final goal. Which means the Rift Pass is designed to force players to complete all quests within a limited amount of time to earn the final reward.

Again, the Tomes weren't nearly this bad. Only event Tomes were time limited, and in most Tomes players had options in terms of a path to take rather than being required to do them all. The Quest Challenge design is awful. I don't enjoy sitting in a killer queue forever so I can kick 15 gens in one match. That's less fun than house chores, at least mopping the kitchen floor feels satisfying when it's clean, who the hell wants to waste time in the killer queue just to then waste time kicking gens? There is no feeling of accomplishment to this garbage.

I'm not sure that properly, fully expresses my dissatisfaction with the current Rift Pass Quest Challenge design.

This is exactly how it works.

Under the Rift Pass tab to the left you see the total amount of quests available at that time.

But for the rewards, only 4 quests per week count. 10 weeks x 4 quests per week = 40 quests, needed for the final reward.

I can't even express how annoyed I am by this right now. Not only is finishing the Rift itself a struggle, but the Rift Quests not counting is so stupid. What's even the point of them being in the tiers if they don't count towards the overall total.
