Can BHVR explain how to beat Krasue?
Given they spent time making this killer, they presumably designed her with an inbuilt, intended counterplay strategy for her kit. As the community has failed to find anything close to suggest the intended counterplay actually exists, could we get an explanation from the team as to what we're actually meant to be doing?

They'll tell you to go play civ 5 again lol

Its a suggestion for BHVR to provide us with their intentions for the Killer.
Besides, I'm sure the lovely moderators will move it should they disagree!

Oh that's my intent - lots of games came out this month so I'm going to take a break until counterplay is found or BHVR forces some to be added.
Maybe Civ 5 can be in that rotation lmao

This killer has ALOT of tweaks that need to be made. Mainly cooldowns just need to be added to:
-when she switches form,
-m1 after m2,
-after she uses her dash in head form,
-and probably more.
Another suggestion would be to make the auto-aim on her spit as an iridescent add-on instead of base kit (or just remove auto aim altogether ← preferred). The only way to make chases longer is to not get infected! Once infected, this killer can chase in head form for guaranteed hits, since she does not apply to the majority of killers when it comes to hugging objects. There are no 50/50s, 50/50s only waste another second before being downed — making these no longer 50/50s.
Also, Why is it that she can now put a survivor into injured state when carrying a survivor in head form instead of applying leech?! Makes no sense as she can only apply her infection to a healthy survivor. If that were to change, Krasue can easily counter this by switching forms to carry a survivor in her body, easy.
Another change to make would be to NOT make the mushroom cure last 7-10 business days. An add-on could make it last longer, or the cure can last longer while in chase, but not while a survivor is off in the corner to grab a mushroom then hopping onto a gen while the killer is busy on the other side of the map. So silly and unnecessary.

You beat the Krasue by hiding and waiting for BHVR to get a patch out.

im currently staying far away form survivor till they get a new balance team.
Right now im doin another run of ghost of tsushima, then ima do silent hill F once october hits. Then ima bounce around between bf6 and some other halloween type games like mortuary assistant and phas

You know I would LOVE to see how the devs want players to beat certain killer kits. Though they don't even test them before PTBs or Live so whats the point?

I think it's more insidious than the balance team being bad. It looks more like a deliberate effort to release easy to play killers that also happen to be over tuned. If it had just been Ghoul then I might have given it a pass. For it to happen again so soon is extremely shady and makes it seem intentional.

The counterplay was already pretty clear in the ptb....then they overtuned her headform lunge so much she can hugtech any loop

They cant. But to be fair, they couldnt explain how to counter any killer.

They don't consider the survivor side and counterplay when designing things. Fog vials is an example too, only viewing the game through the lens of a killer player. The devs are most likely only killer mains.

Are you saying that no killers can be countered? Or just that BHVR can’t explain how to do it? Was a bit confused by your comment.

lol would love for Mandy to answer THAT one.

I read this more as " dev dont know how to play " than " all killer cant be counter"

I just want to know why she deserves to have a basekit that completely denies so much killers. Why should we play anything besides krasue?
Almost no hit cooldowns, insta catch up, anti loop, fast mobility, in built coup de grace, bigger/better 3rd person FOV than chucky. Removing infection makes no sense while in chase, but in the meantime we have unknown that actually need skill expression to hit both times the uvx or whatever its called, allowing both killer and survivor to actually do something to deny the other part. With krasue this doesnt exist, she has almost no cooldown for his infection, and besides, she can just m1 you after infecting you.
Survivors are always in a loose-loose situation, the best you can do is running to a corner to make her take longer time to hook you and cross finger that your team do something with those extra seconds.
I really really really wish a dev answer this, because im really struggling to keep playing this game for having the slightly chance to encounter another krasue. So far I have played more than 20 games against her, and if I escaped one or two times i think im exaggerating .
In what world this killer sounded like a good idea? How is this fair for survivors?
Please Mandy or Ryan, no generic answers, we need transparency and honesty.5 -
the only thing they suggested was taking protection hits and they werent joking when this was the only thing they mentioned

no cz fr blame otzdarva.
im usually against blaming people for certain things but i watched him play her on stream and he couldnt land hits (because it was his literal 3rd game or something) and he was like "yea this killer sucks man" all because he didnt know how to play her m2
she had sufficient counterplay and required a thought process like billy or wesker to attack survs around tiles during PTB and couldnt just mindlessly spam her power and land everything (was it slightly OP? yes - which has me even more confused bc why buff an already overperforming killer idk)
and after watching hens 4k 5 like 10 games in a row with the same killer then to watch otz claim shes trash and stuggle at the most basic pallet to land m2 hit …. like?! wasnt adding up (hens even went custom and redid what otz was struggling with and managed to get the injure/down)
it was like if u were to hand hillbilly over to your friend with 5 hours and watch them struggle because they dont know how to control his turn rate and them getting angry and in-turn saying hes the worst killer in the game. when the reality of it is he was just inexperienced on the killer and because he thinks he's decent enough to get downs quick, got frustrated that he was struggling and obviously devs caught wind or he mentioned it so they gave us what we've got now
i think the devs had a solid killer that got misconstrued by the opinions of a content creator they have a lot of faith in. to put it bluntly.

Mm, I've been utilizing bodyblocks as much as I can but Queen's Sceptre denies a lot of the opportunities a bodyblock provides. You can also only bodyblock very tight loops which are hard to actively keep looping, and standing still lets her form swap to phase through the bodyblocker (unless that was fixed in the most recent bugfix set, I'm taking a break until next hotfix's nerfs just to see how the changes unfold).
She feels like she has a tool to deny p much every opportunity.
