Hex: Third Seal Applies Blindness to Killers Instead of to Survivors

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When Hex: Third Seal is used on Killer, it will Blind the Killer instead of (or in addition to) the Survivors.

PLATFORM: PC (Steam)

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED:

  1. I was playing Wesker with Third Seal
  2. I hit a Survivor with Virulent Bound
  3. I became Cursed and Blind until the Third Seal totem was cleansed

Note how I have the Cursed status, the Blindness status, and the token count for Third Seal was only 2 - I only hit Leon at this point in the trial. I was affected by the second token after hitting Leon.

    Did it happen to you when you got a slap hit with Wesker's power (ie. while a survivor is vaulting for example)? I was able to consistently reproduce the bug 3 times this way, and any other hit with his power (or a basic attack) never triggered it. You also can actually get rid of the blindness if you hit every other survivor afterwards (see below image, I'm still cursed but not blinded anymore), because then it thinks you have 5 tokens and it caps at 4, so it removes the killer's "own token" from the perk if it's the oldest one. Definitely a weird bug.

    No idea if potentially any other killer can get this or not

    The match was yesterday but I do think I recall it happened with a slap hit, yes

    I just want to add on I had this exact same issue. I didn't get a video or anything but I was using Hex: The Third Seal on Wesker as well and it applied blindness to me after I hit someone with his dash attack while they were vaulting a window. I couldn't see any auras for the rest of the match.

    I've had this happen to myself, also as The Mastermind, and also on a slap hit. I don't think I can share videos / clips here, but I have one that shows it off
