Just found out why I got a temporary ban for "exploiting" and its very frustrating.

So after reading todays patch notes something caught my eye:
Fixed an issue that caused clients to receive Lunar event progress when the host quit the match during the transition into the match.
At the moment in dead by daylight there is a slightly uncommon bug that stops you from loading into the match, I was unaware that this caused you to gain lunar event progress and I believe is the reason that I got a temp ban. It's been fixed now so hopefully no more temp bans! But quite a frustrating and annoying bug none the less, has anyone else had this issue? Let me know as I'd be interesting in hearing from you! :) (also dw I have been unbanned now, and no hate towards the devs, I understand why I got a ban, they're just trying to do their best at preventing people from abusing the system.)
