Game Crashing Mid Game
SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: My game crashes when I get to around 2-3 gens left.
PLATFORM:Steam
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: The issue occurs randomly during games. it happened with me doing multiple things such as doing a gen, getting chased, healing and so on. It leads me right back to the unreal crasher which mentions this line of code:

Before I get a reply telling me that it's on my end, I have been fine until last update from you guys.
I reinstalled c++,DX, Ran the UEPrereq, reinstalled my gpu driver, ran the memory test, verified my files, resetted the config, reinstalled the game, made sure every windows updates are done. At this point you guys have a mem leak or something.

I am having a similar same issue since the update. When I am into the game, no matter if it is killer or survivor, the first few minutes everything is normal and suddenly my game freezes and the only thing I can do is to press escape and quit the game or wait a few minutes and then i sometimes get disconnected automatically, but not always. Most of the time the freeze starts when interacting with something like a hook, a chest or while repairing a gen. Then, I still can hear noises around me, but my game is frozen and most of the time, I am stuck in the animation. It is immensly frustrating, because I also did everything you mentioned in your comment and also contacted the game support. They told me several things to fix on my computer, but nothing worked like you said above. I also don't think that this is an issue with our hardware because I am playing the game since 2017 and never had problems like this. I also tried starting the game with -dx11, -dx12 or normal, but nothing works (this helped me years ago when many people had a game crashing problem). I hope, when an update releases, that this will be somehow fixed, because I cannot play the game anymore without dcing every match and getting penalties for it. Does anyone else have this problem right now? Because the support told me they have no other cases with this.

I'm having the exact same crashes every single game nearing the ends of matches with the exception_access_violation as the error in the unreal crash reporter. I did everything I could think of to fix it as well, and came to the same conclusion. It's most likely on their end.

In my last attempt to fix it I was able to by uninstalling reshade and that seemed to fix the stability issues for me, at least in the last few matches of testing. I didn't think that reshade was causing it before because I had all filters off while testing the stability. Hope that helps
