Why killers so quick?

i understand its a movement game, and im aware perks definitely help. But genuinely what do i do when killers are holding hit and LUNGING FORWARD. Why am i getting hit behind corners? Why am I getting hit after ive vaulted through windows??

Bad ping on either side, maybe?

Bad hit boxes. I've been hit after its shown me vaulting a window. Its ridiculous.
