Console players still can't change their game settings
The FSR option was a nice addition, but please just let us modify the actual game quality.
Nobody cares about high quality textures & shadows when the game's performance suffers.
Release us 🙏😩

They stated years back that adding graphics settings like PC has (Ultra, Good etc.) would have no effect on helping game performance.

I find it crazy how we're in this quality of life initiative and there's still no controller settings like deadzone, etc.

Yes! We need more comprehensive graphics settings for everyone!

I find that incredibly hard to believe, unfortunately that does sound like something they'd say.
Regardless, if console players could decrease texture quality, disable shadows, lower render distance, etc. the game's performance would improve.
Only if they were allowed.

POV: you are a console player and you are forced to play with the bad settings of the base game.

From what I can gather, it's a result of their iffy optimization and an apparently insurmountable resource bottlenecking problem within their coding.
No matter what platform you play DBD on, players notice the game is an unusually voracious gobbler of resources. Far more than it should be for what this game does and shows graphically.
