PS4 and PS5 Crossplay not working?

I have a ps5, but my friend has a ps4 and it keeps saying "unable to join host. Please ensure there is no pending update of the game in your download queue". Any one know why it's saying this? Vice versa, it's saying that.

    PS4 have yet to have the 9.2.3 update, so until that is released (hopefully within a couple of days), then you will be able to crossplay together again.
