Ping Colombia

It’s honestly exhausting to play like this. In the south —Argentina, Chile, Uruguay— most players have decent ping because they connect to Brazilian servers. But from Mexico to Colombia, it’s a completely different story: the ping is terrible, and not because the internet is bad, but because there are simply no regional servers.

Everything gets routed through nodes in the U.S., which means our data travels thousands of kilometers before reaching the game server. The result: 150, 200, even 250 ms of constant latency. Shots don’t register, movements come in late, and fights become unplayable.

The worst part is that this could be fixed. All it would take is for companies to invest in servers across other parts of the continent and improve interconnection agreements between countries. Brazil already has them and it works fine—there’s no technical reason the rest of us can’t.

Meanwhile, we’re stuck playing with delay, watching enemies move a second ahead of us, and still being told “it’s probably your connection.” No, it’s not my connection. It’s that Latin America, outside of Brazil, is still treated like it doesn’t exist.
