Spend Bloodpoint Button on Xenomorph Freezes Game

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When clicking the spend bloodpoints button on The Xenomorph, the entire game freezes. When clicking the middle node to purchase an entire level, the bloodweb specifically freezes. Only restarting the game fixes it.
PLATFORM: PS4 version being played on a PS5
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: clicking the spend bloodpoints button or the purchase all inner node on The Xenomorph.
