Skull Merchant "Buffs"
As much as I praise the potential bullet dodged of that awful rework, I still have to stand my ground as a Skull Merchant player. These "Buffs" will do almost nothing to her current state.
Just put her back where she was, give her two scan lines, haste on detection and hinder on trap scan, these tools made her such a unique chase based killer that FINALLY forced survivors to play on her terms. She could close off loops and force them to actually run with a plan rather than mindlessly run around in circles for free chase time.
Flay me alive for daring to say, but I loved that we finally had a killer that removed the option for survivors to just run around in circles indefinitely and actually felt like she could control the game a little. And even WITH those tools she could be knee-capped by competent teams, which I guess is the balance goal for everything in this game.
Point being, stop listening to players that do not understand her and never play as or against her and just let her be the unique chase oriented Killer she was. Hell, revert her to version 1 with some buffs, that'd be good too. I actually liked version 1 and her ability to play with stealth and exposed.
These buffs will not be nearly enough to help her in any meaningful way, and a rework is NOT the answer either. People are going to hate her because they just can't move on from a meta that hasn't existed for years, don't let that affect her and keep her in the ground.
