New Mode: Fight Back
Having a way for survivors to fight back and takeout the killer, has been wanted for a very long time, but out of reach. However, with 2v8 play being so popular, I think that a way to remove the killer from the game would also become popular. Survivors can't actually kill the killer, but I think there should be something that would anger the Entity so much that they would remove the killer from the match.
This could either be through the original gameplay, or through a 1v4 class based gameplay like 2v8, with the addition of secondary objectives that would make the Entity unsatisfied with the killer's performance. There should be 6 or more alternate objectives available. They could all be identical, different, and randomly available on every map.
The completion of any of these secondary objectives would remove 1 hook state from a player. If there aren't any hooks, then the removal(s) would are cached until it can be applied to a player that has been unhooked. Anti-camp would have to be active, and if used, the killer should be stunned in place for 10-15 seconds as a penalty. Each player can only have 1 hook state removed. Once 4 alternate objectives have been completed, a giant claw should form over the map, reaching down to remove the killer. This could work in either 1v4, or a variation of 2v8.
There would obviously need to be some balancing adjustments for this to work, but it would also make the game more like horror films where the survivors Fight Back and eliminate the killer.

This is an awful idea and I hope the devs never even consider it

If it's a silly event mode I'll take it, like an april fools one where the survivors chase the killer. But it'd probably get old fast LOL
