So during weekend I was testing all killers by going for the hooks only, spreading them as much as possible without doing following:

→ Hooking single survivor twice in a row during entire match

→ Slugging

→ 1 slowdown perk, 1 chase perk, 1 info perk and one hex (mostly used ruin or blood favor)

Results:

→ Apart from top killers - Nurse, Blight, Kaneki, Singularity, Billy, Dracula I had about average 5 hooks per game

→ I had more hooks per game as Skull Merchant than as Krasue, Nemesis and Freddy

→ I had most consistent result +- 10 hooks as Ghoul and Singularity

→ I had least hooks as Pig +- 3 hooks per game (Gas Heaven, Suffocation Pit, Nostromo)

→ 64 % of lobbies that were all 2 hooked or 3man out were teabagging and trashtalking in postchat about how easy game was despite I played "to their fun".

→ 5 % of lobbies were greatfull for "fun gameplay"

→ 58 % of lobbies instantly left the lobby

→ 70 % of matches were on Dwarka Deepwood, Midwich, Badham, Coldwind Farm and Decimated Borgo.

→ 7 % of games was dc for no reason (can't say if that could be crash)

Survivor experiment:

→ Most played killers: Blight, Kaneki, Lich, Myers

→ Hard tunneling: 36 % of games

→ Hard tunneling leading to game won: 20 %

→ Escape rate: 52 %

→ Games lost to teammates (left on hook, not doing objective, hiding, bad at chase…): 35 % games

→ Most successful killer: Myers

→ Least successful killer: Hillbilly (haven't played against Twins, Hag, Krasue, Spirit, Trapper)

→ Killers purposely slugging: 3 % of the games

→ Games leading to victory when slugged as team by killer: 0 %

→ Survivors with antitunnel perks: 5 %

→ Survivors weaponizing them: 70 %

→ Most used perks on killers: Pain Resonance, Dead Man's Switch, Bamboozle, Eruption, Corrupt Intervention, Pop Goes The Weasel, Ruin, Surge

→ Killers with iridescent add ons: 72 %

→ Killers disconnecting from games: 2 %

→ Killers bming, purposely prolonging the game: 11 % (mostly slugged survivor when two survivors were remaining, refusing to slug the last one for abandon and kept slugging one of them so they have to bleed out)

→ Most loses map: Azarov's Resting Place, Shattered Square

→ Most won map: Thompson House, Dead Sands

    Interesting. Just cause I'm curious...

I'm gonna assume 4 games per killer (based on your listing for Pig), which equates to about 180ish games of killer?

Did you have a specific build you ran for each killer? Or were you using an equivalent/near equivalent build for each killer?

How many games as Survivor? The same?

    What was your Survivor build?

Also which region? US I assume?

I assume you have this all in a spreadsheet? How long have you been running this experiment?

Also 52% escape rate in Survivor, well played man, that is pretty darned good. 🤘

    Below 200, yes.

I swapped the perks due to killers fe. dissolution, deadlock, hex: wretched fate, floods of rage (on Alien), Jagged Compass, Eruption, Forever Entwined, Brutal (Houndmaster), Hex: Blood Favor, Save The Best For Last, Rapid Brutality, BBQ (Spirit)

    194. Fe. I ran Strenght In Shadow, Shoulder The Burden, Conviction and Sould Guard (+-20 games), Drama, Finesse, Windows, Vigil (+-50 games), Quick Gambit, Botany, Dead Hard, Deja Vu (-+70) Then I tried a few memes because I was super bored but wanted more data so I ran perks like Moment Of Glory, Inner Focus + Reactive Healing…

    Region EU.

2.5 days as killer, 3.5 days as survivor. Ready for short break indeed. :D

I hope more people would play like this so they’ll actually realise how this game works

I haven't seen survivors who sad thank you for fun gameplay, until you didn't kill 3 of them because dominated anyway and decided to give a hatch for last person. Many of them would even blame you in being sweat because you won even playing that casual.

People care about their fun only, they won’t be grateful a lot and would probably skip it and barely remember. Not to shame them — they damn no need to be grateful just because other person played different.

So, it’s… absolutely rational to play without caring to much about other side experience. You are’t some therapist for them. Some people need to lower their expectations

I thanked a Pig today who let me boop her snoot while in the void, and who then hid outside the portal and immediately gave me my third hook :)

    She was a fun Pig!

I’m trying to provide fun for others when I feel myself in a such mood, but thats the point. You shouldn’t force people to guarantee fun for others. You never should game expect doing this. This game is about bloody killers and survivors and not some pink world where you make a show or concert for everyone. This is beyond actual gameplay, sides are to distinctive for this. People are free to do it and thats just a part of us being human, but when people expect this happen most of the time in game like DBD I wonder do they really care about everyone enjoyment or its just their sole vision of the game should be validated the most

I empathise with the teabagging bit. In a game where I literally played for a 2k then I let people go I got called the R slur and called bad at the game (by a person with blue perks btw). All I wanted from that match was to get fun axe throws as springtrap and I succeeded. I then proceeded to spend 25 minutes conspiring with a carlos to get an obviously new player out the gate so they could have an escape. Yet I'm still insulted.

survivors never care for the killer fun, on the contrary, they have more fun the more miserable they make the killers

I had yesterday a Bubba that was doing Bubba things like crazy. It was a tense and fun match. As I test different perks, I used yesterday Blast Mine a lot and 3 times hit him with it. At the end I found a hatch and thank him in the chat for the game worried a bit he will be mad about the stuns, but it was surprisingly a very cheerful person, we chat a bit and they told me they enjoyed hunting who was doing that.

Agreed! That's exactly why I mentioned the example where the Pig let me do the fun thing and then promptly eliminated me :)

I also occasionally have the lute perk or Vee's song thing equipped, and then try to play on the stage on Freddy's map or something. But we can't expect to get released or even get the other side to play along. If they do, it's a bonus :D

I had a similar experience once with a Bubba who hooked someone in the basement in the early game. My two other teammates ran right into the basement... I did eventually rescue one of them, but that game was doomed. When the hatch race came, Bubba got it first and took me down. Afterwards, I told him that I had no idea why my whole team ran into the basement when he was clearly camping it. Good chat with him :)
