Filter the way that feedback is collected from the PTB
There needs to be some way to authenticate a player's feedback from the PTB, because even in the dedicated space for collecting PTB feedback, there are all sorts of takes from people who, in their own words, haven't played on the PTB.
That seems kind of counterproductive, no?
Maybe collect feedback from an interface that's directly tied to the PTB version of the game where players can submit their opinions directly, and maybe have a separate public space here on the forums that all players can provide feedback on.
But getting feedback and all these strawman arguments from people who watched a streamer and are just parroting their takes on the PTB… that doesn't feel like valuable feedback to me. I think it should matter whether a player has personally experienced the changes for themselves. Not having a forum where people are giving a half-baked take after watching 10 minutes of another person playing the game.
And I get that this would largely leave console players out of the loop with official feedback… but they're already not playing on the PTB, anyway. So you're not collecting match data from these players to begin with.
