Advanced Graphical Settings?

So I was wondering if there's ever gonna be advanced graphic settings apart from the presets.
I can only run on the low preset at 60 fps, but whenever I hop into the GameUserSettings.ini I can edit a few of the settings to be a bit higher than what the low preset offers and still maintain 60 fps, but whenever I switch to the medium preset I dip to around 45-50 fps.

The main thing that's causing me to decrease in framerate is Anti Aliasing and Effects Quality. I'd like to be able to set some of the settings independently in-game instead of having to restart the game multiple times changing the numbers of the Graphics quality just so I can get it looking somewhat better than low preset and maintaining 60 fps.
