Hello DbD Team,
I am a returning player who first started in 2017, and I wanted to share my feedback
- I would appreciate it if you would consider a slight increase in the spacing between pallets, and in exchange, increase the number of available windows. Many current maps feel very tight, yet they seem to lack enough structures (loops) to facilitate chases. Windows are a particular concern; many are one-way drops, and even on standard vaults, the stagger animation can often lead to a survivor being caught immediately. A map like Hawkins, for example, feels short on windows relative to its pallet count. I believe reducing the number of pallets slightly in favor of adding more windows would be a healthy change.
- As someone who mained Balanced Landing back in 2017, I agree that the old passive stagger removal was overtuned. However, I would like to suggest the creation of a new, separate perk dedicated
onlyto removing stagger, perhaps balanced with its own internal cooldown, similar to how Quick & Quiet operates. - The current functionality of the Breakdown perk seems to make "We'll Make It" feel less impactful or somewhat redundant. I think it would be beneficial to re-evaluate the distinction between these two perks to ensure both have a clear and valuable purpose.
The recent add-on changes addressing anti-slugging and anti-camping seem good. However, I think the purple "Styptic Agent" should be reconsidered. Here is a suggestion regarding add-ons:My reasoning is that this could prevent frustrating scenarios where a killer hits a survivor who has just used an exhaustion perk to create distance, only for that survivor toalsohave an Endurance effect from an add-on, forcing the chase to be extended even further.Red (Ranger) Med-kit:Keep its base heal speed but give it very high durability.Purple (Emergency) Med-kit:Keep its base durability but grant it a significantly fasterself-healspeed.Green (First Aid) Med-kit:Grant it a significantly fasteraltruistic (other-heal)speed.
- Move the durability bonus from the red "Gel Dressings" down to a purple add-on.
- Change the effect of the red "Gel Dressings" to instead grant a 5-second Endurance effect upon use.
- Then, make it so that add-ons of the same rarity (or perhaps these specific ones) cannot be used together.
Thank you for your hard work and for considering my feedback.
