Executioner: Interrupted cage rescue freezes/vanishes survivor

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When stopping a rescue from a cage by hitting a survivor, the caged survivor bugs out - disappearing from the map and the struggle bar freezes.
PLATFORM: PC (Steam)
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Hooked in corner of the bathroom on the Game. Player is trapped in a cage in 2nd hook state, rescuer hit mid rescue animation (when the caged survivor is being lifted up). Caged player's model disappeared (as does the cage), player struggle sounds were still audible, but struggle bar stopped moving. Tried to abandon when other players had all died, but replaced by a bot which continued in the same bugged state, forcing the killer to abandon.
